100% merino wool filling with a soft organic cotton lining and a merino–cotton blend outer
Say hello to snug, settled sleep on even the coldest nights. The Woolbabe Duvet Sleeping Bag with Sleeves is our warmest Woolbabe option, designed to keep your baby cosy and comfortable while maintaining a safe, breathable sleep environment.
With the heavier feel of a quilt or layered wool blankets, this duvet-style sleeping bag is ideal for cooler homes and winter months. The natural merino filling works to regulate body temperature, helping your baby stay warm without overheating, while the smooth organic cotton lining is gentle on sensitive skin.
Cosy raglan-style sleeves provide extra warmth while allowing freedom of movement, with slightly lighter merino fill in the arms for comfort and flexibility. A front double-ended zip makes night-time changes quick and easy, and the integrated buggy slot allows the bag to be used safely with a 5-point harness in a stroller or bouncer.
Designed for rooms generally under 20 degrees, this versatile sleeping bag can also be used in temperatures from 14–22 degrees by adjusting the layers worn underneath. For extra warmth, simply add merino bodysuits, pyjamas, or onesies.
Loved by parents for its ease of use and trusted for its safety-first design, the Woolbabe Duvet with Sleeves helps create a consistent sleep routine your baby can relax into. Each bag also comes with a free room thermometer and clothing guide, taking the guesswork out of dressing for sleep.
Relax. I’m cosy.
That’s what Woolbabe sleep is all about — better rest for babies, and peace of mind for parents

Washing & Care
Caring for merino is easy, but important to get right!
Washing
- Gentle machine or hand wash in cold water or 30°C water using a quality liquid wool wash
- Airing your Woolbabe item daily will reduce how often it needs to be washed
- Do not hot wash
- Do not rub, soak or bleach
- Avoid using laundry powder, soaking, bleaching, wringing, dry cleaning, or stain removers, as these practices can accelerate the biodegradation of Merino, causing holes.
Drying
Hang dry or low tumble dry immediately after washing - Do not leave wet in your machine
Do not hot tumble dry.
Please note some shrinkage may occur with tumble drying. Not all dryers have a low enough temperature setting. Please check your machines specs before choosing this option.
Storing
Storing merino correctly is important to keep it safe from moths, mould, dust, and general wear and tear. Vacuum closets/drawers regularly and store with Cedar Moth Balls.
Stain removal
Never soak or bleach merino or use stain removal sprays- even if you develop a stain.
To remove stains on merino, carefully dab the area with a cloth covered in a wool-approved detergent. Follow up by washing your merino as usual and the stain should come out.
Odour removal
Merino wool's moisture-wicking properties makes it naturally odour-resistant.
Odours often vanish on their own, but if needed, air out by hanging, lay flat on a towel to rest, or hang in a steamy bathroom to refresh. The less your merino item is washed the longer it will last.
ABOUT THE FABRIC
Merino sheep produce the finest and softest wool in the world, its benefits are so great that no other fibre- natural or man-made, can match it.
Woolbabe’s duvet sleep sack is made using a carefully considered combination of natural fibres to keep babies cosy and comfortable through the night. The outer layer is Woolbabe's signature blend of 30% merino wool and 70% organic cotton, giving a beautifully soft feel that’s gentle on delicate skin, while the inside features a luxurious merino wool filling quilted with a smooth organic cotton lining.
Merino wool is naturally breathable and temperature regulating, helping to keep babies warm in cooler temperatures while preventing overheating as conditions change. It also wicks moisture away from the skin, is hypoallergenic, and naturally odour resistant, supporting dry, comfortable sleep day and night. Paired with organic cotton, this creates a fabric that is durable, soothing, and kind to sensitive skin. Like all natural fibres used by Woolbabe, these materials are renewable and biodegradable, making them a thoughtful and environmentally responsible choice for your baby.
Responsibly sourced and certified
The merino wool used in Woolbabe products meets the Responsible Wool Standard (RWS), ensuring high standards of animal welfare and responsible land management, from the care of the sheep to the land they graze on. Their fabric is Organic 100 certified, and the cotton used in the linings is certified organic cotton.
